ACU-M MISSION CRITICAL INTEROPERABILITY
The ACU-M, mission critical interoperability solution, is a feature-rich, simple-to-use device that can be networked and managed remotely. The miniature interoperability device built on the proven ACU technology. The JPS Interoperability Solutions device has an intuitive control panel for operation, field diagnostics and programming. Weighing less than 3 pounds, the ACU-M is easily deployed and affordably priced, making it ideal for mission-critical interoperability.
The ACU-M provides interoperability between its four audio ports (for radios or other devices), two voice over internet protocol (VoIP) channels, and a headset port. The unit is equipped with a comprehensive suite of digital signal processing (DSP) functions that allow it to competently interconnect radios in any band including HF, VHF, UHF, P25, 800-MHz and Nextel iDEN phones. The DSP function is notably absent from competitive counterparts. An Ethernet port provides access to a network for the VoIP channels and is also used for remote control and feature and firmware upgrades.
The enclosure design of the ACU-M offers maximum portability and flexibility to meet the demands of establishing command and control in the field. The unit can be powered by a battery, vehicle +12-volt outlet, or AC power supply provided.
It can be installed in a vehicle, rack, or Pelican case. Its water resistant control panel with integrated keys and displays ensures easy programming and field diagnostics.
The ACU-M can be controlled locally by its intuitive control panel, speaker, and headset or remotely via its serial or Ethernet ports. Included with each ACU-M is the proven ACU Controller software for control of an individual ACU-M via a CAT-5 cable or over a network.
